Hello World!!!

Welcome to my life, and my story.

I love technology and my name is Bill. I will be sharing my ideas and my opinions on topics I find interesting.  I want to make a difference in the world by having some of my ideas circulate around the internet. I believe the internet is a great way to express ideas. Freedom of expression ensures I can dent the blogosphere and be heard. I would like to take this opportunity to give everyone another perspective. I am sure I can inspire at least someone in our world of 7 billion. This is because I have been inspired by others too. I have received some inspiration from my parents but also from many others. The words I think are valuable enough for everyone to hear are posted under “Quotes”. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

My athletic hobbies are skiing, skating, and curling. I love the winter as I get to enjoy the sports I love, but also because I love Christmas. Christmas and the times surrounding it make winter feel very cozy and comfortable. The snow gives the world a nice slow-motion feel, and just as much a peaceful feel. Even though winter amplified this “peace”, I grew up in a incredibly peaceful area surrounded by nature, so naturally I love our natural world from its trees to its beasts. I hope to be able to share some of these beauties in my “Photos” section.

Another fun fact: even though I love technology, I dislike ebooks. You can read more about it here, but nevertheless, I still LOVE books. My favourite genres are Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Dystopian and what I  like to call “Realizations-of-the-future-and-realizations-about-our-world”. Some of the books I like reading are listed under “Books”.
